Phendrana is as if Agalloch dropped their folk metal influences and replaced them with prog metal riffs. It's progressive atmospheric black metal, but the black metal is very minimal. Outside of the vocals there's not much to be heard. This band is truly capable of carrying you along the waves of their soundscapes. They have released only one album so far in Sanctum: Sic Transit Gloria Mundi. Read more on Last.fm
