Phillip Henderson has recorded noise and field recordings, cut-ups and mash-ups. His recent output is concerned with live and recorded improvisation. These works merge drone, arhythm and amelody. They are easily identified by a ten digit title which is the date and time the particular work started (yymmddhhmm). He creates dense sound that can be bright and fresh while heavy and stifling.
