Pijar, an Indie Pop Dance Rock unit, started in Medan, May 14, 2013, with 4 personnel that shares of loving The Cure, Joy Division, New Order, Pulp, Franz Ferdinand, etc; The Members are: Alfred a.k.a. Jakjek (Vox, Guitar), Ican (Lead Guitar), Lizam (Bass), and Aul (Drum). Pijar, literally, means Light in Melayu language, the name they took in hoping they can lighten up a new color for Indonesian music scene.
