Psychagogo was a Japanese punk rock band formed Tokyo in 1992 and disbanded in 1998. The band's core lineup consisted of Seiji Fukuda (vocals, guitars), Hiroyasu Mine (guitars), Kiyomi Teraoka (bass, vocals), and Taro Arie (drums). The group's sound is reminiscent of U.S. post-hardcore and noise rocks acts like The Jesus Lizard and Cows, although occasionally drifting off to other genres such as rambunctious twee pop (often with vocals by Teraoka) and even acoustic numbers.
