Raw Thrills is the project of Zak Mering, a Los Angeles–born musician who later became part of the American underground lofi psychedelic-pop scene. Known for his cassette-saturated blend of power pop, synth-pop, and dreamlike nostalgia, Mering has released music through labels including Gunk TV Records, Outer Limits Recordings, and Japan's Sixteen Tambourines. He is also the older brother of Weyes Blood (Natalie Mering), with whom he has collaborated on several recordings. Read more on Last.fm
