The Revolutionary Ensemble was a free jazz trio consisting of the late violinist Leroy Jenkins (1932-2007), bass violinist Sirone (Norris Jones, 1940-2007) and percussionist/pianist Jerome Cooper (1946-). The trio was active from 1971-1977, and reunited in 2004.
