Hailing from Collinsville, Illinois, math-rockers Ring, Cicada went through a number of line-up changes and three now out-of-print EPs before releasing their debut full-length, Good Morning Mr. Good, on 54º40' or Fight! in April of 2003. This album marked the debut of guitarist Christian Powell as a vocalist on three songs, which was a change of pace for the once-instrumental group. This was the group's second stint with vocals, following a brief period when former drummer Chris Carl (later of Cheerleader) rejoined the group as its frontman. Read more on Last.fm
