Roberto Giaccaglia is the principal bassoon with the Gran Teatro La Fenice de Venezia. He is also the solo bassoonist with I Solisti Veneti. He also plays with a number of other chamber ensembles. During his career, Giaccaglia has won many musical prizes, has taught bassoon in Padova and Latina, Italy, and has recorded many times throughout Europe.
