Even though it’s been five years since we last heard from Runaway Brother, the Cleveland group has maintained a dedicated cult following, and it’s easy to see why. Sticky hooks collide with off-kilter riffs and warm tones and, five years since New Pocket, and eight since Mother, and nobody’s been able to recreate the magic they tapped on those records.
