Sammy Rae & The Friends are an American 7-piece funk/jazz-rock band based in New York City. The band is fronted by Connecticut-born Samantha Bowers (performing as Sammy Rae), and currently includes C-Bass Chiriboga on drums, James Quinlan on bass, Will Leet on guitar, Debbie Tjong on keys, Max Zooi on tenor saxophone and synths, and Kellon Reese on alto saxophone.
