Sarah Marie Mullen is an American Celtic harpist. It is said that Mullen fell in love with the harp at the age of five when a harpist visited her kindergarten class. It took seven years, and the organization of a neighborhood wide garage sale, for her to raise the money to buy her first nineteen-string lap harp. Mullen began studying the harp with Karen Stern, and later with Diane Michaels. Her interests in music began with Celtic harp, and, in high school, expanded to include the Concert harp.
