Seals & Crofts were an American soft rock duo formed in 1969 by Jim Seals (born James Eugene Seals 17 October 1941- June 6 2022) and Dash Crofts (born Darrell George Crofts August 14, 1938-March 25 2026) in Los Angeles, California They are best-known for their hits "Summer Breeze" (1972), Diamond Girl (1973) and Get Closer (1976) Both Seals and Crofts were born in Texas.
