Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz — acoustic/electric bass, oud —was born in 1975 in Brooklyn, NY. Shanir has recorded and performed extensively with Satlah, Rashanim, and Pharaoh's Daughter, all who have made many records on John Zorn's Tzadik label.
