Silbermond ("silver moon") is a German pop rock band from Bautzen, Saxony, consisting of Stefanie Kloß, Andreas Nowak, and brothers Johannes and Thomas Stolle. The band members met in 1998 while participating in the music project Ten Sing. In 2000, they formed their own group and performed locally under the name JAST, derived from the initials of the members.
