Spinvis (pseudonym of Erik de Jong) is a Dutch musician, songwriter, singer and (sometimes) sample artist. Simon Vinkenoog (1928-2009) was a famous Dutch writer, beat poet and voice of the hippie generation. Spinvis and his band were closely associated with Vinkenoog in the final years of his life, around 2006-2008. They released the album Ja! (2006) under the moniker Vinkenoog / Spinvis Combo and played a string of live shows, including special ones for Holland's travelling performing arts festival, De Parade. Read more on Last.fm
