Named after a famous rock 'n roll song by Sticks McGee and after the American name for a drink made of whiskey and red wine, Spo Dee O Dee is an alternative rock band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, fronted by songwriter Ross Curry (vocals, guitar). The band was established in January 1989 and the line-up was completed by Jan Holtman (drums, percussion) and Ralph Brink (backing vocals, bass).
