Status Quo are a British rock band formed in London in 1962. The group first achieved major success with the single "Pictures of Matchstick Men" in 1968. Over the course of their career, they have had more than 60 chart hits in the United Kingdom, including "Caroline", "Down Down", "Rockin' All Over the World", "Whatever You Want" and "What You're Proposing".
