Strunken White were a Indie Rock band with heavy influence from the D.C. rock scene, but also drew comparisons to acts that preceeded them in their hometown, such as Polvo & Spatula. The band consisted of Nagendra Jayanty (Guitar/Vocals), John Stickley (Drums), Noah Howard (Guitar), and John Booker (Bass). Strunken White was a heavy indie rock band that became very well known in their flourishing North Carolina music scene from their inception in 1996 until the band broke up in 2001.
