ThankYouPain was started in 2010 as an electronic solo project by Shizoeid (Sheezo or She), also known as Alice Paukkou, ex-member of idm/trip-hop band iky que (2008-2010). From the beginning this was a one-person-band with Sheezo's vocals, violin, viola, piano and guitar combined with a lot of electronic sounds. Starting as something close to industrial and breakcore, ThankYouPain soon stopped using electronics and went fully acoustic in 2011 when Knyazhe Voevoda joined in.
