The Devine were the Birmingham/ Orlando predecessor to Atlantic recording artists Virgos Merlot. The most prominent members of the band were lead singler/guitarist Brett Hestla and guitarist Jason Marchant, both of whom would be founding members of Virgos Merlot in 1998.
