The Elected Officials is an anarcho-hardcore punk band from Austin Tx and Santa Fe New Mexico. The members are drummer Shane Pennington, guitar player Jay Minton, vocalist Sophie Rousmaniere, and bassist Brian Shannon. Former members of Systema Nerviosa, 32 Fingers, Atomic Influx, Bootleg, Our Mother of Sorrow, and at least 15 other bands, The Elected Officials delivers ripping punk rock reminiscent of The Dead Kennedys, Bikini Kill, DOA, and DRI.
