āThe Hands of Cainā were formed in 1983 in Athens, Greece, by the ex-members of the teenage punk-rock band (and one of the first of the Greek punk-rock scene), āAusschwitssā. They were around for about two years, with a number of live gigs in places like the renowned āPegasusā club and used to be considered part of the Athenian dark-wave scene, that was very lively in the mid ā80s.
