The Maureens are a jangly indie rock band, established in Utrecht, The Netherlands, in 2012. Richly arranged and inspired by bands such as Big Star, The Posies, The Beach Boys and perhaps Holland's own Daryll-Ann, front man Hendrik-Jan de Wolff writes melodic, melancholy indie rock. The band released five full-length albums thus far: The Maureens (2013), Bang the Drum (2015), Something in the Air (2019), Everyone Smiles (2024) and Don't Give Up (2026).
