Known to many in The Netherlands as a TV presenter, director and popular YouTuber, Véras Fawaz also made his début as a solo musician and singer-songwriter in 2018. With an undercurrent of slow lo-fi beats, his songs are poetic and fragile, mostly addressing personal issues such as, for instance, his relationship with his Islamic father and the tragic death of his younger brother.
