Marisa Kosugi has always been inspired by her mother, Matsutoyo Sato, who is a true artistt and because of her dedication in sharing Minyo-Japanese Folk Music with others through out California, Marisa realized that Minyo is special and since she grew up listening to it as a young child, Marisa sees herself as continuing Japanese culture.
