Zoƫ Modiga is an artist who represents the present and future of South African music drawing from the roots of roots of African storytelling, Jazz composition and Motown soul but creating a sound entirely her own in order to communicate an evolving African sound without loosing its essence. A celebrated artist at home with awards such as the Mbokodo Award - an event to recognise women who have shown leadership, fostered growth and made efforts to strengthen the arts - in South Africa (2018) and SAMRO Overseas Scholarship Competition (2015).
