In 1991, after the breakup of D'ERLANGER, KYO started as a solo project. The first release of the solo project, āNOTHINGNESS TO REVOLUTIONā, featured the unit āOPTIC NERVEā consisting of YUKIHIRO and Murohime Shinobu, to which TAKASHI joined to form the band.
