I can’t even remember how the name “firephly” came to be my musical representation. I have been using it for a very long time. I often thought about using something else, but for some reason this just stuck. My musical journey started very young. My mom used to play her records while we cleaned house, so my earliest memories are of Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Captain and Tennille, and The Alan Parson’s Project.
