In the summer of 2009 Jens (ex All Above Hate) and Sam came up with the idea of starting a straight edge band. They encountered Nate (The Mansion Incident) who had the similar idea of starting a band with only straight edge members. They were still in need of vocals and a drummer so they decided to ask around if anyone knew a drummer. That's where Willem came into their life, a xVx drummer.
