Herbert Arthur Wiglev Clamor Grönemeyer (born 12 April 1956) is a German singer, musician, producer, composer, and actor, known for his popularity in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Grönemeyer was born in Göttingen and spent most of his childhood and youth in Bochum. He began piano lessons at the age of eight, which later contributed to his work as a pianist and composer at Schauspielhaus Bochum. In 1979, he appeared as Lorenzo in "The Merchant of Venice" at Schauspielhaus Köln and began acting in television productions. Read more on Last.fm
