Samy Thiébault (* 1978 in Ivory Coast) is a French jazz musician (tenor saxophone, composition, also flute). Thiébault initially received traditional musical training at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux before studying jazz at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP). While studying music, he also earned a master's degree in philosophy with honors from the Sorbonne (2001). In 2004 he released his debut album Blues for Nel, followed by Gaya Scienza (2007) and Upanishad Expériences (2010). Read more on Last.fm
